How It Works

HALO by Sciton® is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser, combining both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to precisely target skin concerns at multiple depths. This dual approach stimulates natural collagen production while resurfacing the outer layer of skin, delivering powerful results with minimal downtime compared to traditional laser treatments.

What It Treats

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage and discoloration
  • Uneven tone and texture
  • Enlarged pores
  • Scars (including acne scars)
  • Signs of aging

Benefits

HALO delivers a noticeable “halo glow” by dramatically improving skin clarity, smoothness, and radiance. Results can be seen within days and continue to improve as new collagen forms. With customizable treatment settings, HALO® offers powerful rejuvenation tailored to your needs—achieving remarkable results with shorter recovery time than traditional resurfacing lasers.

Treatment Pricing

The HALO Laser treatment starts at $1,300.

WHAT IS A HYBRID FRACTIONAL LASER?

A hybrid fractional laser, like the HALO, uniquely combines two types of laser technology—ablative and non-ablative—to deliver comprehensive skin rejuvenation. The ablative wavelength targets the skin’s surface, removing damaged outer layers to reveal smoother, healthier skin beneath. Meanwhile, the non-ablative wavelength penetrates deeper into the dermis, stimulating collagen production and promoting long-term skin repair. By addressing both surface and deeper concerns in a single treatment, hybrid fractional lasers achieve dramatic results with less downtime compared to traditional ablative lasers alone.

YOUR GUIDE TO REJUVINATED RESULTS

BEFORE TREATMENT

Flip the card to find out more about before your HALO laser treatment.

Avoid direct sun exposure, self-tanners, and strong, active skincare products like retinoids for one week before treatment. Stop blood thinning medications three days prior. Use sunscreen daily and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Your provider may apply a numbing cream to ensure comfort.

DURING TREATMENT

Flip the card to find out more about your HALO laser treatment.

Your provider will begin with a consultation to assess your skin concerns and goals. The HALO device will deliver both ablative and non-ablative laser energy to the targeted areas. You may feel a warming or prickling sensation, but most patients find the treatment comfortable, especially with the use of numbing cream.

AFTER TREATMENT

Flip the card to find out more about after your HALO laser treatment.

You can expect some redness, swelling, and a warm sensation, similar to a mild sunburn. These side effects are normal and usually subside within a few days. Your skin will begin to peel or flake as it renews itself. It’s essential to avoid sun exposure, wear SPF 50+, and follow the aftercare instructions provided by your provider.

HALO Laser FAQs

The HALO laser combines two types of wavelengths to target both surface and deeper skin issues, improving skin texture and clarity for all skin types. The BBL laser uses broad-spectrum light to treat skin conditions like pigmentation and vascular issues, and to improve skin tone and texture.

Yes! Combining the HALO and BBL treatments can enhance overall skin rejuvenation by addressing a wider range of skin concerns more effectively.

After a HALO treatment, you can expect improved skin texture, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, diminished sun damage and pigmentation, and an overall brighter and more youthful appearance.

Many patients see significant improvement after just one HALO treatment, but the number of treatments needed can vary based on your skin condition and goals. Some may benefit from a series of treatments.

Yes, there is some downtime after a HALO treatment. You may experience redness and swelling for 3-5 days, followed by peeling and flaking as your skin heals and regenerates.

Results from HALO treatments can last several years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routine. Periodic maintenance treatments can help prolong results.

Initial results can be seen within a week as your skin heals, with continued improvement over the next few months as collagen production increases and skin texture and tone improves.
